We’ve crafted this training to set you up for success in your exciting new home-based travel biz—go at your own pace, soak it all in, and don’t hesitate to reach out with questions. Follow the steps below by clicking and expanding the title of each step below. And remember, we’re here to help every step of the way!
This guide walks you step-by-step through everything you need to launch and grow your travel business.
A. Contemplate of a few names.
B. Check the sites like Cloudflare, Godaddy or WhoIs to make sure you can have legal use of your chosen name.
C. Secure your url (domain) by visiting a domain registrar of your choice and register your company name url.
D. Having your own domain helps your clients find you easier. It’s not a requirement but a worthy investment.
E. Create an email through free services like gmail for your business. Ex. SusiesTravel@gmail.com.
The next trainings will ask you to sign up for logins to continue your training. This is where you will want to use your company email or a separate email to receive supplier emails. You will want to keep them separate from your personal email.
Travel Leaders Network (TLN) is a global travel agency network community. America’s Travel Companies belongs to this network. You may find this referenced as our consortium. TLN provide many of our programs offered to you as an independent contractor. Signing up for access to their agent site is part of your initial training program. This is step 2 in your training once you have completed the training with out ITA Manual.
You are now invited to register for access to Agent Universe, the agent site for TLN. Your initial registration will be for Agent Profiler, your online consumer profile. But more about that will come later in your training. Once you register and your account has been approved by management, you will gain access to Agent Universe. Agent Universe is where you’ll be able to learn about, and access a variety of trainings, programs and tools that TLN offers.
Additionally, once your access is ready we will recommend trainings in the Learning Management System for you to learn more about what our association with TLN provides to assist you in your travel business.
The Travel Leaders Network (TLN) offers a training library called The Learning Management System (LMS). Once you have been registered for Agent Universe Access, we will recommend trainings in your own library. These are recommendations based upon your initial responses to the type of business you want to market.
To access the TLN Training Library OR The LMS you will log into agentuniverse.com. Once logged in, click on the TLN Training Library in the quick links.
In addition to our initial training recommendations, we do suggest you revisit the Training Library regularly for continuing education.
